Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Maharaj
Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Maharaj is only the 5th personality in the last 2,500 years – and the first in the last 700 years – to be awarded the title of “Jagadguru”, meaning “world teacher”, or “Master of Masters”.
Shri Maharaj Ji, as he is affectionately known, is currently 81 years of age, and is still actively teaching thousands of devoted souls in Northern India. He teaches the eternal philosophy of bhakti yoga, the path of love. His spiritual status and personality are beyond the comprehension of a material mind; his divinity cannot be understood, but only experienced.
Shri Maharaj Ji belongs to a special class of Saint known as Rasik. The personality of a Rasik Saint relates to the most intimate, loving nature of the divine self, in which all formalities dissolve into love. Through his loving and profound personality, his brilliant philosophical lectures, the facilities he provides through his ashrams, his trained Swamis who he has sent to teach throughout the world, and above all his divine nature, he is bringing spiritual knowledge and understanding to thousands of people in India and around the world.
